Proud of this kiddo for earning a positive referral! Way to go!!!!

You're Invited!!!
LCC1 MS and HS Student Councils invite you to our upcoming VIP Dance—a special community event celebrating the important relationships in our students’ lives!
VIP stands for “Very Important Person,” and this event is all about sharing a fun, memorable evening with someone special. This could be a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, family friend, mentor—anyone your student considers important. Think of it as a “kids’ prom,” but with a meaningful twist!
Event Details:
📍 Location: Grandview Elementary (enter through the north kindergarten doors by the parking lot-see map)
📅 Date: Saturday, April 25th
🕔 Time: 5:00–8:00 PM
💲 Cost: $10 per person
The evening will begin in the cafeteria, where guests can enjoy:
Drinks and snacks
Photo opportunities
Crafts and games
We will then move into the gym, where our very own Student Council members will be DJing and keeping the energy high for a night of dancing and fun!
Please note: This is a community event—attendance is not limited to Lafayette County C-1 students. We welcome families and friends from all around to join in the celebration.
We can’t wait to host you and your VIPs for an unforgettable evening

Enrollment Night

3rd Quarter Honor Roll

The 1st hour Building Skills Class crocheted, and hand weaved coasters for residents at Meyer Care. They also took some shirts that were provided for them by Meyer Care and used their sewing skills and made adult bibs. They had fun playing Bingo with the residents and assisted them down to the lunchroom after sharing some homemade cookies they had made. What a great way to kick off break.

When St. Patties is over a break, you celebrate early!

This popcorn is SO good. Help out parent network as 50% of the proceeds go directly to them. These funds go towards students and staff events and appreciation

Due to the potential for significant severe weather this evening, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tonight’s school dance. While we know many students were looking forward to the event, the safety and well-being of our students must always remain our top priority.
Weather conditions later today have the potential to create unsafe conditions for students, families, and staff. Out of an abundance of caution, we believe it is best to avoid bringing students back out this evening.
We truly appreciate the excitement our students had for this event, and we share in their disappointment. To make sure students still have an opportunity to celebrate and spend time together, we will plan to build a special activity or celebration into the school day later this year.
Thank you for your understanding and for always partnering with us to keep our students safe. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
