Happy Labor Day! Enjoy your weekend!

Mrs. Ward's class did an activity on Wednesday called "Let's Make Squares". The students worked in groups, and each group was given 12 popsicle sticks. Their task was to use all 12 sticks to create 1 square, then 2 squares, then 3 squares, etc. Their final task was to use the 12 sticks to create 12 different squares. They did an excellent job working together and were able to figure out most of the solutions!

Mrs. Hass' class taking advantage of the power outage and turning into team building artwork!

Shout out to Sadie and Adrianna for earning positive referrals! We're so proud of you! Way to go!

Due to the heat, we will be implementing some changes to practice this week... MS football will continue from 3:30-5:30 PM as scheduled with indoor modifications made. We will be splitting the MS Gym with softball until 4:30/4:45ish then using the weight room/wrestling room while softball enters the gym. Please make sure all MS football players have shorts & shoes to lift in as well.

Where to bring all of your school supplies? Take a look....

6th grade camp--Correction/Clarification: I apologize, I realize there was a typo on our 6th grade camp flier. 6th grade camp concludes at 11:00, NOT 11:30. The west gym parking lot is currently under construction. Therefore, in the morning for the parent meeting, please park in front of the building and/or in east parking lot. This will also change how we typically pick up. Your student will be ready for pick up 11:00. Please park along 31st street to pick up your student. We will walk the students outside, and Officer Smithson was also be present if needed for any traffic concerns. The parent meeting will run from 7:30-8:00. Sorry for the confusion. Can’t wait to see you all tomorrow!

Middle School Football, message from Coach: Practice schedule: Monday, August 14th: 8:00-10:00 AM Tuesday, August 15th - 3:30-5:30 PM Wednesday, August 16th - 3:30-5:30 PM Thursday, August 17th - 6:00-8:00 AM (Due to Back to School Night) Friday, August 18th - 3:30-5:30 PM Starting on Monday, August 21st we will have practice every day after school from 3:30 to 5:30 until the week of our first game. Once that week arrives, we will have practices & expectations of commitment scheduled out just a little differently! By that time, I will have all the parent contact GroupMe as well as the player GroupMe activated so that I can get information sent out each Monday!

The Lafayette County C-1 School District will be using online registration this year. Current families can register through the system; new families should report to the age appropriate building to begin their enrollment. We will use paper forms for the handbooks and free and reduced lunch forms. Current families, please check your email for detailed instructions.
All online registration will be completed through the Tyler Student Information System (either website or app), not the new LCC1 District App.
For families with no computer or no internet access, we will have two help sessions available.
