The Cross Country team had a successful day at Districts on Saturday. The girls team and five individual runners qualified for the Missouri State High School Activities Association state meet in Columbia on Saturday. #OnwardHuskers

Just a reminder that Friday night's home football game is a MSHSAA district game. Admission for the game is $6 for ALL spectators ages 6 and above set by MSHSAA. You can also stream the game on MSHSAA TV at a cost of $10.60.

On Wednesday Oct 30, we hosted an Apply Day at Lafayette County C-1 HS, this event is designed to offer an opportunity to students while they apply for postsecondary college and career options.
We had 31 students complete 35 applications, this was an amazing learning experience for all!
Snacks and drinks were provided to the students as they worked on applying to colleges and programs. We were also able to draw prizes for 3 lucky seniors who attended the event. Jackson B. and Sawyer H. will each receive $25 and Violet M. will receive a Digital Instant Camera. Congratulations to the winners AND Congratulations to all the seniors who participated in this event!

I know there was some confusion when checking the district football bracket MSHSAA. Originally had our district semifinal game on Nov. 7. That was an error on their end. Our district semifinal game will be on Friday Nov. 8. It has been corrected on their site.
7th grade basketball parent meeting will be Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 6:30.
We have another STATE CHAMPION to add to the ranks. Elena Williams won the Class 1 Individual Girls State Championship today defeating Zaylee Rose of Columbia Independent 6-3 6-0 in the championship match. Way to Go Elena. #OnwardHuskers

So proud of our STUCO! We paired up with Lexington for a friendly competition to raise money for Special Olympics. As a district, we raised $4,899.29. Lexington School District raised $341.82. This means that Special Olympics Missouri will receive a combined total of $5,241.11!!!
