Brady Looney. Brady is the son of Clifford and Stephanie Looney. Brady's extracurricular activities include: Golf, FBLA, and Yearbook. Brady's favorite school memory: "Districts for golf my junior year." Advice for incoming freshmen: "All you can do is your best and succeed from there." Impactful teachers include: Mr Pleacher, Mr Wilkson, Mr Anderson, Mrs Anderson, and Mrs Hass. Upon graduation, Brady plans to continue his career with Clarkson Construction. In 10 years, Brady plans on "Being a boss for the union and making the big bucks."

Mateo Guillen. Mateo is the son of Miguel Guillen and Diana Picon. Mateo's extracurricular activities include: Cross Country, Football, Tennis, Track, FBLA, and Basketball. Mateo's favorite school memory: "Breaking my ankle trying to make a reverse layup." Advice for incoming freshmen: "Be friends with teachers." Impactful teachers include: Mrs. Wiley, Mr. Anderson, Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. Mahnken, Mrs Bennett. Upon graduation, Mateo plans to attend State Fair Community College to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice. "In 10 years, I plan to have a degree in Criminal Justice and become a Forensic Investigator."

Katie Draisey. Katie is the daughter of Shannon and Kermit Draisey. Katie's extracurricular activities include: Volleyball, Wrestling, Cheerleading, FFA, and NTHS. Katie's favorite school memory: "Making it to the Elite 8; beating the school records for setting; and playing alongside my teammates." Advice for incoming freshmen: Take advantage of all the opportunities given and be yourself. Impactful teachers include: Mr. Anderson, Mr. Brock, Mrs Chaney. Upon graduation, Katie plans to attend Iron Eagle Welding Academy to continue getting her welding certifications. "In 10 years I would like to see myself being a travel contract welder with a side business of real estate investing."

Atticus Kerivan. Atticus is the son of Jordan and Clara Salyer, and Tyson and Lindsey Kerivan. Atticus' extracurricular activities include: Band, Jazz Band, Tennis. Atticus' favorite school memory: "My sophomore Orlando trip, and the 24 hour bus ride to and from." Advice for incoming freshmen: "Find who you are, and get out there." Impactful teachers include: Mrs. Reuther and Mr. Schloman. Upon graduation, Atticus plans to "use A+ to go to MCC and get my gen eds, and figure it out from there." In 10 years, Atticus plans to be married with a stable and flexible job, and engage in a bunch of hobbies.

Sabastian Woodall. Sabastian is the son of Elsie Portell and Robert Portell. Sabastian's extracurricular activities include football and FFA. His favorite school memory: "Going to Washington, D.C. for FFA. His advice for incoming freshmen: "Do as much as you can and take any opportunities you see." Impactful teachers include: My Ag advisors from here and Mr Meeks from Wheatland. Upon graduation, Sabastian plans to either get a full time job or work for the railroad. In 10 years, Sabastian plans on being a conductor for Amtrak.

Kiley Bieri. Kiley is the daughter of Matt and Kristi Bieri. Kiley's extracurricular activities include: FCCLA, FBLA, NHS, Student Advisory committee, Blue & Gold Singers, Volleyball, Cheerleading, Track & Field and 4-H. Kiley's favorite school memory: "My senior year cheer season stands out as my favorite memory because it was the year I finally pushed past my comfort zone. I got to embrace everything the sport has to offer which allowed me to grow in ways I never expected." Advice for incoming freshmen: "Don't be afraid to try new things and always be yourself." Impactful teachers include: Mrs. Zeikle and Mrs. McArtor. Upon graduation, Kiley plans to attend the University of Central Missouri and major in Events Marketing & Management. "In 10 years I see myself working as an Event Planner hopefully married and having children."

Chevelle Weddle. Chevelle is the daughter of Richard Weddle, Candace Weddle and Rich Hunter, Brianna Hunter. Chevelle's extracurricular activities include: FFA, FCCLA, FBLA, NHS, and 4-H. She also participates in many sports, including softball, archery, wrestling, basketball, and track & field. Chevelle's favorite school memory: "The time my friends and I attended the FCCLA State Convention and the FCCLA Animal Shelter Field Trip." Her advice to freshmen: "Take your most difficult classes as a freshman and sophomore, so you take dual credit classes as a junior and senior, giving you a head start in college. Also, take A+ even if you do not believe you will use it." I want to thank my parents for supporting me; those who helped me with assignments in the classroom; and, lastly, my friends for being there when needed." Upon graduation, Chevelle plans to attend State Fair Community College for 2 years; then transfer to UCM for another 2 years; and finally attend Mizzou for the last 4 years. This is where she plans on finishing her schooling to become a veterinarian. In 10 years, Chevelle will have entered the Navy, or will be working as a veterinarian.

Gillian Davenport. Gillian is the daughter of Paul and Jessica Davenport. Gillian's extracurricular activities include: Wrestling, softball, tennis, drama club, track, and jazz band. Her favorite school memory: "Winning the Battle at Katy Trail in my senior year. It felt like all the work I did to become that good, to have that skill to compete was all worth it." Her advice to incoming freshmen: "Take electives, have fun with your first year. There are many subjects that could spark an interest in your future. That doesn't mean slack off, it just means to have some classes you can enjoy to make up for the less fun work." Impactful teachers include: "Mrs. Reuther has been part of my school life since middle school. She's the one that got me to try bass clarinet and made me fall in love with it. She's always been so supportive and helpful, even when I got on her nerves a little during class. Mr. Schloman, coached me during wrestling. He is a good teacher and a better coach. He always pushed for more, especially with his own children (one of which consistently beat me up). He shaped my humor and always acknowledged my good work in his class. Mrs. Cunningham was my math teacher in highschool. I was even in her Advanced Algebra class (even if I didn't want to be). She taught math in a way that my brain actually handled cohesively and always helped me see my mistakes from the start so I could fix them. Ms. Murnahan was only my teacher for a short while but she is a great one. She was my English and Drama Club teacher for a couple years. She made things fun in class and also knew how to control the more unruly students. I enjoyed my English assignments because she made them fun and interesting."Upon graduation, Gillan plans to join an apprenticeship for the gasfitters and pipe welders. In 10 years, Gillian plans to become a welding inspector.

Bryant Allery. Bryant is the son of Mark and Barbara Swartz. Bryant's extracurricular activities include: Basketball and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Bryant's favorite school memory: Helping Referee for SOMO Basketball. Bryant's advice for incoming freshmen: "Enjoy every moment like it's that last." Impactful teachers include: Mrs Zeikle, Mr. Alberti, Ms. Grellner, Mrs. Thompson, Mrs. Port/Wylie, Mrs Structemeyer, Mrs Hayes, Mrs Shelli. Upon graduation, Bryant plans to attend State Tech. In 10 years, Bryant will be working in fiber optic installation.

Mattea Yocum. Mattea is the daughter of Melissa Yocum. Mattea's extracurricular activities include: Women’s Choir, Marching Band and NHS. Outside of school I sang with the Kansas City Choir: YCKC. Mattea's favorite school memory: "Going to Orlando, Florida with the band my junior year." Mattea's advice for incoming freshmen: "Try and make the most and best out of high school." Impactful teachers include: Mrs. Cook and Mrs. Reuther. Upon graduation, Mattea will take some time to explore what she wants to do next.

Kenadie Gray. Kenadie is the daughter of Thomas and Lacey Gray. Kenadie's extracurricular activities include: Marching Band, Concert Band, HOSA, Volleyball, FFA, Women's Choir, District Solo Assemble, and A+. "My favorite high school memory is winning overall grand champion at our last band competition." Her advice for incoming freshmen: "Don't take for granted the time you have right now, because they don't lie when they say it's gone in a blink of an eye." My most impactful person throughout my school career was Mrs. Reuther." Upon graduation Kenadie plans to attend Northwest Missouri State University and Major in Pre-Med. In 10 years, Kenadie's plan is to finish up her residency somewhere that fits her best to be able to specialize in Pediatric transplants.

Today Zayden Fisher signed his NLI to continue his education and basketball career at Missouri Valley College. Congrats Zayden.

Phoenix Myrick. Phoenix is the daughter of Amy Lueck. Her grandfather, David Lueck, has been someone Phoenix has looked up too. "I participated in many activities throughout high school, I was an active member of the band for all 4 years doing color guard. I also joined a few clubs such as FBLA, scholar bowl, and peer helpers." Her favorite school memory: "I enjoyed traveling with the band to places like Florida and St. Louis. It was always loads of fun to share our yearly show at other competitions, and these trips were always a great opportunity for making memories." Her advice for incoming freshmen: "My biggest piece of advice is just don't let the silly things that happen in high school get to you, this is truly only a blip in your long life. Never let others hold you back or get you down and remember to value yourself, you're kind of stuck with yourself so make sure you find people who like you for you." Impactful teachers include: Mrs. Bennett, Mrs. Bell, Mrs. Murnahan, Mrs. Yoder, Mr. Honeycutt. Upon graduation, "I plan to start attending community college at MCC in the fall, I will be working towards my associates degree and eventually I want to begin studying to become an art therapist." I hope in 10 years I have a stable income, and a home to call my own. In an unrealistic world I would love a beautiful cottage type home out in the country, where I would raise horses and goats (among other farm animals) and have a beautiful garden."

Congrats to the Husker Tennis team on their great showing yesterday at the Individual District Tournament. Colby Dickmeier and Alex Dyer faced off against Mateo Guillen and Rhett Burns in the doubles district championship. Colby and Alex won the match and are district champions. Mateo and Rhett finished as district runners up. Colby, Alex, Mateo and Rhett have qualified for the MSHSAA State Tennis Tournament. #OnwardHuskers

Carley Allred. Carley is the daughter of Sherri Gannon. Carley participated in the Marching Band and Jazz Band. Her favorite school memory: Going to Florida with the marching band sophomore year. Carley's advice for incoming freshmen: Actually get your work done on time and keep track of your GPA. Impactful teachers for Carley include Mrs. Bennett, Mrs. Port, and Mrs. Yoder. Upon graduation, Carley plans to attend a 2 year school. In 10 years, Carley hopes to either have a nice house and a steady job on the coast, or travel the world.
