The Lafayette County Health Department is offering a school based immunization clinic for 7th and 11th grade students on April 10th. This clinic will provide the required vaccines that they will need before they can start the 2024-2025 school year. Forms will be sent home and must be returned no later than March 21, 2024 to your student's homeroom teacher or the school office.

Our district is looking for an administrative assistant to the Superintendent who will assist with the overall business and school board operations of the school district. This is a full-time, 12 month salaried position with benefits such as health, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, vacation and more. The job requires organization and flexibility. While prior experience with human resources is a plus, it is not a job requirement since there will be on the job training available to the selected applicant. The job description below lists most of job duties, but since state laws and regulations change our reporting and business requirements, these job duties may change as well.

“To assist the Superintendent with his responsibilities by managing the office in a friendly and professional manner while performing the necessary clerical duties to assure that all correspondence, record keeping, reports to state and federal government, human resources components and other office functions are done in a timely and efficient manner. To also perform all clerical duties and maintain records for the Board of Education as well as perform other related tasks as assigned by the Superintendent or the Board.”

Due to slick road conditions on some bus routes, there is no school today, Tuesday
Due to the icy road conditions, there will be no school today, Monday January 22nd.
Families in Husker Nation. Due to drifting snow conditions on several of our routes, we will not have in person school today. We will utilize one of our virtual learning (AMI) days. An additional email will come from your student's building with more details.
Parents and Guardians, due to the extreme cold and the impact it is having on our mechanical equipment, we will not have school on Tuesday, January 16th.
