The cross country team will travel to Grain Valley on Saturday to compete in their first meet of the year.

Lady Husker Softball will travel to Marshall on Saturday to take part in the Marshall High School Softball Tournament.

HS weekly activities

The following spring sport and activity teams earned the MSHSAA Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award. The teams and groups over all GPA's were between 3.50 and 4.00.

The following spring sport and activity teams earned the MSHSAA Distinguished Scholastic Achievement Award. The teams and groups over all GPA's were between 3.00 and 3.49.

As we reach the start of fall practices for high school on Monday August 11th and middle school practices on Monday August 18th we just a have reminders for any athlete that is planning on playing a fall sport. Students need to have a an updated physical and annual requirement on file in the athletic office before they can start practices.

The Husker Cheer teams took part in a UCA camp. Khloee Roberts, Ada Stephens, and Harper Hayes were selected to the UCA All-American squad. #OnwardHuskers

The Lady Husker volleyball team hosted their youth summer camp last week and had a great a turnout. #OnwardHuskers

State track is coming up on Friday and Saturday this week. Here is a little information about travel to Jeff City and construction that is going on HWY 54: FAMILY/SPECTATORS ALTERNATIVE ROUTES TO AVOID CONSTRUCTION ON HWY 54 THRU JEFFERSON CITY: FAMILY/SPECTATORS FROM NORTH & WEST OF JC: Traveling east on I-70: -Near Boonville turn south on Hwy 5 or Hwy 87 (your choice) -Then turn east (left) on Hwy 50 -Stay on Hwy 50 thru JC to Lafayette Street exit ramp -At the end of the ramp turn south (right) on Lafayette Street -You will pass all our north parking lots on Lafayette -If you continue to Union St. and turn right you can access more parking at the press box, or continue on Union to Jackson and turn right to access parking behind Nichols Career Center or continue on Jackson for parking at Thorpe Gordon Elem.; to loop around to parking again, after you pass Thorpe Gordon Elem. turn right on Franklin, then right on Lafayette -Golf carts service these lots for rides to the stadium -There is also a small lot on Lafayette just past Union at the round-about
