Another Husker High-5!
Our District began the Husker High-5 initiative last year to showcase positive behavior, the positive impact through one's character and actions, quality lessons and teaching, and community support. The Husker High-5 is a nomination in which parents, staff, and students can nominate a K-12 student, a teacher, a staff member, or someone from the community that fits the above criteria. For the month of September we have three wonderful individuals we will be recognizing. Our second individual is Mr. Bobby Bordgstadt!
"Mr. Bobby has been a wonderful addition to our Grandview Family! He is great with the kids, extremely patient, never complains, asks others if they need help during any down-time that he may have, and makes an effort to form relationships with the kids that he works with. He definitely deserves a Husker High-5!"
Great job Mr. Bobby! Keep making a positive impact!

Huskers, please welcome our new Process Coordinator, Mrs. Jenny Greer.
Jenny grew up and graduated in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. Jenny earned her Associates degree through Wentworth, BS in Special Education and MS in Educational Leadership at the University of Central Missouri, and her Ed. Specialist in Ed Leadership at Saint Louis University.
Jenny and her husband, Joe, will have be married for 20 years next year. They have one son, Gilbert, who is excited (and a little bit nervous) to join the Huskers this year. They love playing games of all kinds together. They enjoy taking board games to the local coffee shop, playing them at home, or gathering together with friends over a meal and playing games together. She also enjoys photography, gardening and planning ahead for trips, events and holidays.
When asked what she loves most about Higginsville, she said "What's not to love?! It really does live up to its promise of "County Living At Its Best". One thing that I always especially admire is the Higginsville's Parks and Rec Department offerings. They always seem to be taking on projects and developing partnerships that will expand access to quality recreation opportunities for area families. Outdoor play, team sports and family recreation all have such a powerful, positive impact on a child's development. As a person working education, I definitely view the Parks and Rec Department as one of Higginsville's crown jewels."
Fun Fact about Mrs. Greer:
She loves cartoons! One of her favorites is: Avatar the Last Airbender
Everyone please welcome Mrs. Jenny Greer

Also, thank you to Kevin Daniel with FiredUp Consulting Group for the motivational presentation.
We are so excited to see everyone for the 2023-2024 school year!
