Zayden Fisher. Zayden is the son of Jeremy Fisher and Cara Caroll. Zayden's extracurricular activities include: FCCLA, FBLA, Basketball all 4 years, Track 1 year, Blue and Gold singers, Yearbook. His favorite school memory: TP'ing the school on senior homecoming. His advice for incoming freshmen: Enjoy it while it lasts because it flies by. Impactful teachers include: Pleacher, Mr and Mrs. Anderson, Mrs Ramsey, Coach Stoner. Upon graduation, Zayden plans on attending Missouri Valley College on a basketball scholarship while majoring in sports management. In 10 years, he plans on being married, starting a family, and being happy and rich.

As we approach graduation we are going to spotlight each senior and their wonderful accomplishments! The first senior is Ava Amos. She is the daughter of Quenton and Tiffany Bainbridge. Ava has been involved in many extracurricular activities. These include: FFA, FBLA, FCCLA, Softball, Basketball, Track, Student Council, Class Vice President, Yearbook. Her favorite school memory is playing softball and spending quality time with friends. Her advice or incoming freshman: Don't stress about what others think, it won't matter later. Impactful teachers include Mr. Anderson, Mrs. Chaney, Mr. Brock, and Mrs. Zeikle. Upon graduation, she will attend UCM and Major in Radiology. In 10 years, her plans include being married to a nice guy with a big farmhouse and having a good job.

As we quickly approach Halloween, it is also important to take time to consider Veterans Day, which is right around the corner. Our FCCLA has been working hard to prepare for our annual Veterans Day Assembly. We thank all of the brave men and women who have served, and continue to serve, the United States of America's armed forces. Check out the attached flyer for more information.

This Sunday, September 28, is Paint the Streets and the Bonfire/Pep Rally, sponsored by the Husker Athletic Booster Club. Paint the Streets will begin at 6pm in front of the high school. The Bonfire/Pep Rally will follow and take place in the park this year next to the 4-H Pole Barn. We hope to see you there!
